Hello Finalists!!!
Welcome to your Final Judging Session. In a few minutes, I will reveal the new All Stars Winners for this series.
This week, you need to post Red Carpet photos for Two events. MET Gala & Teen Choice Award. Let's see your Red Carpet photos for both events.
Natalie:
The Met: I really think you look exquisite here, Emmy! the dress and the pose are just absolutely great, as is the expression. Good job!
Teen Choice Awards: I love this even more than the one before! You're perfectly springy and would totally be a hot commodity among teenagers. This fits perfectly- great job!
Lee: Oooh futuristic. The Met one is good! I think it's quite elegant and you look great! Your eyes are beautiful once again and I love it!
However your second photo...I don't like it! Your dress isn't very nice, your facial expression is making me angry and I don't like your hair! The pose, even though *insert negative comment*, I think it embodies the TCA so in that case, it's okay.
Amanda: I like your Met dress a lot - you look sophisticated and modern, and everything is definitely appropriate for the event. No flaws here, it's just beautiful.
The Teen Choice one... I like your smile and the youthful innocence that's coming out of you. However, your dress is a tad... bulky, and I'm not sure how much I like that. It works for the event, it's just not the best choice for you. Sure you get that
Gwen: I love the dress and the pose in your first shot. Great styling, too. The way the tarp in the back is draped makes this photo feel like it's off at an angle a bit even though it's not. Just a little optical trick there. You look nice in your more casual attire, but that's not my favorite style of dress. To me, you might as well be wearing a potato sack cause that's the type of form you'd get from that, too. The curtsy is cute and fitting with how it's styled, though.
Adele: Great choice for MET. I love the styling in the photo. You look strong and confident. The color looked so regal on you. As for TCA, I think you manage to show us the fun and flirty side of you in this photo. I think you can do more with hairstyle but other than that, you gave us two solid photos this week
Natalie:
The Met: This is great, Katy! I really love your pose and dress here. This might be one of my favorite dresses of the cycle- it's so classy! I do wish your pose was a little less tense, though! You should be genuinely happy to be here!
Teen Choice Awards: I think your personality is spot-on here, and I commend you for that! I think while your outfit would normally look great, it might be a bit much (or little) for this event. Still, a good picture!
Lee: For the Met, I actually think it's pretty good. The lazy smile is unfortunate but other than that I think it's a solid picture. The dress definitely shows off all of your curves yet still looking elegant so it's a nice mix.
But WOW! The Teen Choice Awards photo is absolutely incredible. Beautiful dress, beautiful smile - beautiful everything! You absolutely nailed this one, good job!
Amanda: The Met one has a great dress, but your face is just... yeah, you look like a zombie. That almost ruins the entire photo to a horrific point, but the dress and hair make up for it because they're elegant, and I really like that.
The Teen Choice Awards one is a bit too over-the-top for the event in question, but that doesn't change that it shows YOU off, that it suits YOU perfectly. I like it a lot for that, but it's not exactly the right event. That's something more for someone in your age group as opposed to 15-year-olds... who probably see this stuff a lot anyway. Not a big deal, really
Gwen: I love the dress in your first photo. You're also styled perfectly. That dress has so much going on that if you added much jewelry, it'd be an overload, but this is the perfect amount. Your face looks a little unsure about what's going on, but the rest of the photo is great. The second photo is a little too risky for the event you're going to, but otherwise, I like it. I do like the dress (even if I feel it's a little too adult) and the pose puts you at an interesting angle. I do like the smile on your face, too.
Adele: The dress for MET is freakin' beautiful and glamorous. I love the sparkling cause it made you stand out more. But I agree, you need to work on your face expression more. As for TCA, very solid from head to toe. I love the 'motion' impact in your photo. Great job!!!
Natalie:
The Met: I'm not really thrilled with this photo, Monica. The angle is strange to me, and there are two logos on this picture. Your expression isn't that great, even if the dress is. This is just okay, overall.
Teen Choice Awards: Not in love with this one either... I don't really think the outfit fits with the event, and even though it's red carpet I wish the picture showed us a bit more. Luckily you have a pretty strong portfolio!
Lee: Logos don't make or break a photo in my opinion..but with that said, this isn't a very good picture. I don't like the way the dress is being worn (i don't know if that makes sense). But it kind of looks "saggy". Also, I wish you were smiling!
As for the TCA, I actually think it's pretty cute. The fact that it's not full body will hurt you though. Overall I wouldn't say you did bad but maybe just okay.
Amanda: I like the Met one. You reek this aura of "sophisticated" and that's really strong, and I love a good red dress. I really don't see any flaws with it, but at the same time, it's not striking or memorable as it could be.
The Teen Choice Awards one is appropriate for the event, but I can't see all of it. Kinda ruins the point of a red carpet shoot, doesn't it? I like what I see, I just don't see everything. That's really... unfortunate :/
Gwen: I really like the dress and styling in your first photo. This looks like a bit of an action shot since we don't see any actual posing like we'd normally see on a red carpet. You do look stunning in the photo, though. Very classy. I'm not too thrilled with your second photo, though. We don't see much of you and what we do see looks like it might be meant for a bedroom more than a red carpet.
Adele: For MET, I think the dress look 'heavy' on you. You look like you were not enjoying being on red carpet. As for TCA, you looked like you were a 'Cougar' waiting for your victim. The boobs are too much. It was weird and uncomfortable.
