Hello Girls!!!
Welcome to your Third Judging Session. This week you need to submit a photo with a your chosen props. Let's see your photo this week
Ashley "Camera"
Amanda: When you said "camera" I wasn't expecting retro. This is definitely an original idea, and it's cute. You have a hat and you know I like hats, which is +1 from me. Your legs are scrumptious, but we can't see them completely due to the tripod being in the way. The styling is great and unique, and I see this as a mixture of young and old - it's artistic, and I'm going to remember this because of how unique it is. Well done!
Lee: Amanda is right this is pretty unique! I think the overall setting is very nice and your prop is obviously executed very well. I'm not a big fan of your outfit and your pose is kind of odd but I think this whole photo is odd in a way and that's gives it a refreshing feel to me. So overall, I like this one!
Adele: Not a fan of your styling, a little bit messy for me but I love the use of props in the photo. Very classic and creative. I like the concept. Good job
Natalie: I do like this Ashley. Your face is a little blurred, but I like the retro styling and camera. Nice work this week!
Gwen: I love your prop in this shot, especially since it's an antique camera. The quality seems a bit low, but I like the pose and the styling.
Britney "Step Ladders"
Amanda: Step ladders, yes. That's definitely an appropriate name for those.
Britney, this is great - for the most part. The setting is spectacular, the pose is great, and the styling is breathtaking, especially when mixed with the setting. The lighting works well for what you're going for, but there's just one major problem with it: It shadows your face in a way that makes you look old, weathered, and dead. I don't see ANY energy from your face, and that's ultimately what brings an otherwise great photo down. That's the ONLY thing I don't like here - otherwise, this photo is one of your best. You have nothing to worry about this round
Lee: Nothing to worry about? THIS IS THE WORST PICTURE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! WOW IT'S SO BAD MY EYES WOWOW I NEED SURGERY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!!!!!!!!! THE WORST EVER!!!
I'm kidding haha. This is great! Look how cool you look holding onto to your step ladders! All diva-like and in charge, I like your attitude in this picture. I actually have no problems with this at all - i think your face looks wonderful. This is fantastic, good job!
Adele: I swear I almost slap you Lee.. I think this is fabulous. Love the styling. I think this is your best photo ever Britney. I'm not even sure what is the name of that prop too but it worked out really great for you Brit
Natalie: I really do like this, Britney. You look great here, and the whole photo is cohesive. I only wish you were interacting with your prop a bit more, but I still think this is great overall.
Gwen: I love your pose and the whole color scheme of the shoot. Like Natalie, I do wish there was a little more interaction with your prop, but overall, really good job this week.
Charlize "Swimming Pool"
Amanda: The theme is "props" and you don't have a prop here. This is a good photo - you're pretty, you're striking, you're fierce, and the setting and styling are gorgeous, but the theme is PROPS. You need a PROP. I don't know what possessed you to think that a SETTING is the same as a PROP, and because of that, you should be VERY concerned this week.
Adele: If you didn't mentioned about swimming pool, I dont think I'll ever found out about your prop. And I'm not even sure that swimming pool is a prop. Too bad because this photo is frickin' beautiful Charlize.
Lee: Ya the prop issue is quite a problem. Like Adele said, it's kind of a shame that photo was wasted now! Is swimming pool a prop? Nah, probably not. Sadness all around!!
Natalie: I agree with all the other judges. It's not really obvious what your prop would be if you didn't say anything, mainly because a swimming pool isn't a prop. Sorry (
Gwen: I have to echo the other judges when they say "this isn't a prop, it's a location". It's a shame cause this is a really nice photo of you otherwise.
Emmy "Bicycle"
Lee: Emmy my goodness...you're making me sweat in my suit here! Excuse me while I melt to the floor. Next time bring a warning sign! I can't talk properly now due to excessive drool. This is something else. You win! You've won me over!
Amanda: Hawt. Cute. Lively. Sweet. This photo makes me smile. You look flawless in every department - the hair is great, the pose is fantastic, you're smiling, and although the styling and concept are retro, it works. Those legs are yummy and you're interacting with the bike quite nicely. This is easily one of your best photos we've seen, period, Emmy. Great work!
Adele: You need a cropping lesson cause I don't like the way it was cropped. Other than that, this is fantastic. You interact well with the props and your body language is so damn hot in this photo. I almost declared myself as Bisexual after I saw this. Love the legs!!! Stunninghhh
Natalie: I hate the way it was cropped, but I do like the photo otherwise. I love your legs and your styling, and the use of your prop is evident. Good job!
Gwen: Yeah, I'm also not a fan of the way part of the bike is cropped out, but I do love the overall cohesiveness of this photo. Your outfit matches the bike well, I like your pose, and I like your styling.
Eva "Bicycle"
Amanda: This is very... Sports Illustrated. It's sexy, but I don't know what to make of your outfit. You look amazing, and the background is intriguing for a studio shoot. I'm unsure on if the bike is being used as a prop - it's more like a chair of sorts here, but that part is forgivable because a bike IS a prop. Overall, this is okay, which is better than last round - at least you're fierce this time.
Lee: This one is okay. I mean you are at least using a prop! I think it's okay that you're in athletic wear, why not? I'm not in love with this photo but in the end, I don't have anything to complain about really haha.
Adele: Another bicycle. Amanda & Lee might said that this photo is just okay for them. I disagree with them cause I think this is a very strong photo from you. I love the way you use the bicycle. Very creative and memorable. Your body proportion is super strong and the angle is great too. This is Eva that I like before
Natalie: I agree with... Adele. I think this is really strong. I think your styling is cohesive with your picture, and I think you have a strong presence in this photo. You dominate your prop, not the other way around. Good job this week!
Gwen: Oh yay, another bike photo. However, this one has a very different vibe to it than the last. You definitely have a stronger pose, but like the other bike photo, I wish the bike wasn't cropped out. This does look like Sports Illustrated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Kate "Hairdresser's Chair"
Lee: Oh wow. Kate is that you? Bringing the heat! This is out of this world! I don't even care about the prop! Hahah, not but seriously I guess a problem is that you're blocking most of the chair you're sitting on due to your dress. But I'm not complaining...
I never knew getting a haircut could be so sexy!
Amanda: I don't see a prop, and I'm disappointed. You're not really using anything, you're just sitting down! Granted, this is SEXY, but... it's disappointing that you're not relying on interaction to the extent you should for this shoot. Your legs are delicious, as is the styling, but the theme hurts. Unfortunately for you, I saw your samples before you removed them, and you had other photos that were good for props. Probably should have saved this one for later, because... I'm not feeling "props." If I didn't know the theme and had to guess, I'd say "sexy" for this one. So overall, it's just okay :/
Adele: I think the problem is we don't really get to see the prop because it's a little bit hiding behind you. I love your pose. Very sensual but not hoochie. Your eye contact is great. Overall I think you did good.
Nat: I think you did all right this week- I'm not blown away like last week. You are covering up a lot of your "prop," which doesn't help, but it's still a good photo. Overall, not a bad week for you, it's just not last week!
Gwen: I wish I could see a bit more of your prop, but I do like how you're using it. It's a nice pose and the styling's fine, too. Sexy, but not trashy. Solid photo this week.
Katie "Chair"
Lee: Right away I'm happy because this a much needed improvement from your last photo shoot! I like this one. I can't see anything I don't like. You're on a chair and you look very cool and model-like! That's about all I can say for this one! I think you did a solid job. Though, I guess I don't think your facial expression is the best ever, It's not a big issue.
Amanda: Most definitely better than last week. You're cute this time, and you're inviting - I can actually see this as a shampoo ad more than I could your photo for that shoot
You're beautiful and everything, and I can see "props" - but only somewhat. You're relaxing in the chair, which is in an unusual location, but I want to see more interaction! I want to see you OWNING this chair, rather than just sitting in it. Don't worry - you're not in trouble this week, but I just find the thematic connection too loose.
Adele: Katie!!! I love this one. Very gorgeous, stunning and beautiful. I love the connection. Styling is very cute and simple but still look stylish on you which is great. Love this so much Katie!!!
Nat: I think my main concern with this photo is that the background is rather dominant. I wish that you stood out more. Also, I think the styling is a bit simple, and I'm not really sure how much you're using that chair other than lounging on it. I'm not a huge fan this week- sorry.
Gwen: Great theme incorporation here. I like the relaxed pose in your chair and the styling fits with the shoot nicely. However, I wish your legs weren't chopped off in this photo. Other than that, I like this photo. I don't feel that the background overpowers you.
Katy "Balloons"
Lee: Oh man I don't like this photo. You look dead just like your balloons on the ground. I don't see anything appealing to this photo at all. It's really zoomed out and you have a blank stare kind of thing going on. Hmmm :/
Amanda: This was not what I expected when I saw you went for "balloons," I expected something... lively. Like "Last Friday Night" lively. This, though artistic in a way, is just like Ho said - it's dead. I like your dress, but it isn't bringing this to life! You're like a statue. This is artistic, but not in the most memorable way. I don't hate it, I'm neutral towards it. There are things I like and things I don't.
Adele: Katy, I really want to like this Katy but it was too awkward and stiff. I love being quirky but this photo wasn't working well for me. The setting though is really beautiful
Natalie: I agree with the judges. While I appreciate this for its artistic value, I just don't like how dead it is. There is also a lot of background- the photo sort of consumes you. I do like how you took a risk with your direction though. It's interesting, at least.
Gwen: I do like the unexpected route you took with this photo. The balloons resting on the ground is a nice touch to a gloomy photo. You're a bit far away and I'd like to have seen you better. Also, the make-up job isn't very flattering. However, I do like the unexpected direction you took with this.
Liv "Fan"
Lee: Whoa whoa whoa! Criticized for being naked?! Who in the world would do that...
This is exotic! I think you pulled off that crazy side look pretty well. I love the different shades of blue in the picture as well which look amazing with your make-up. Ya this is definitely awesome, I have no problems with it! Well done!!!
Amanda: This is definitely something different. It's not my favorite photo in the world, but you're actually USING a prop here. You're interacting with it, you're sexy, and you definitely understand this theme more than several of the others. I like this. I really do. I really can't say much because I have no real qualms... but I also don't have much else that's the "WOW ZONE" sort of thing. Overall, it's good, so great work Liv
Adele: Wow!!! I think you did well again, Liv!!! Very strong and intense. I love the drama in this photo. Very sexy and unique. Great job, Liv
Nat: I really like this. I think it's a strong modelling shot, and you have a strong connection to your prop. I can't say I'm in love with the teal background, but I guess that's my only issue. Nice work!
Gwen: I love this shot. Had you not told me that this was Liv Tyler, I never would have guessed. We're definitely seeing a different side of you here and while I like your normal side, I really like this, too. The prop is incorporated well without distracting from you at all. Excellent job this week.
Marion "Camera"
Amanda: Sorry Marion, this doesn't do much for me. It's a profile shot with sunglasses, which means we can't see ANYTHING of your face, pretty much. The setting is wonderful, but you don't own it - you're just there. The styling is good, but that floral belt around your waist doesn't do your body justice. There's really nothing about you that sticks out here, and it's unfortunate. :/
Adele: The setting is definitely my favorite setting this week. I love your styling too. Very gorgeous. I think you connect well to your prop. I love this photo. Very memorable
Lee: This is a nice photo. But i feel like it doesn't fit with the photo shoot. I say that because the setting is amazing but we need to see YOU! The trees get my attention before you, and even when I see you, you're not the focal point. I agree with Adele though that you do connect well with your prop. It's just the other things that bother me!
Natalie: I think you did well with the styling and prop this week, but I really don't like the sunglasses. It just makes it hard for the viewer to connect with you. You're not very model-like here, but I think your styling is gorgeous and I still think you did a good job for the week.
Gwen: Not a huge fan of this picture. The profile picture with the slightly relaxed jaw and the touristy sunglasses don't really do it for me. I do like the setting and you are styled nicely, but it's the pose that's getting to me in this one.
Monica "Sword"
Amanda: Sorry, Mo, I'm not a huge fan of this. I really like how you're holding your sword and having one eye looking through it, and the black and white is a good effect, but... that's about all I like. Your expression seems somewhat lifeless, and the lack of color doesn't help it - it only contributes to the artistic value here. I don't hate this, because the idea is at least solid, but the execution is just a bit bland.
Adele: Too gloomy for me too Mo. Your face looks weird in this photo. Something was off about this photo. My biggest concern is the styling.
Lee: I guess it will stick in my mind. However, I don't think it's that good either. I mean the lack of colour kind of makes you look reaally old and that's not what any woman wants to hear! Am I right or am I right? You're using the prop in a pretty creative way though so I'll be keeping that in mind when I rank. At least you have a prop we can all see!
Natalie: I agree that this is too gloomy. I see your prop and everything, but the overall photo is just very dead, and not in an artistic way. Come to life, Monica!
Gwen: We've definitely seen better from you than this. I have no problem with gloomy photos, but your hair looks a like greasy and stringy in this shot. The prop is fine, but could be better used. I do like that you are looking through the handle, though. In the end, this shot had a good foundation, but needed better execution in a few areas (like hair and make-up).
Zoe "Circus Ring"
Lee: Oh wow! This is sooo good! I had no clue what to expect when I saw circus ring but this is pretty much flawless. Even your dress is funky and circus-like and the way the lighting shines on you is perfect. I'm gonna give you three thumbs up on this one! I'm really happy!
Amanda: Alright, Zoe, here's the skinny: YOU'RE SKINNY. Seriously, you look almost stick-like. It may be because of your dress and those big puffy things around your shoulders, or maybe it's your pose. I can't be sure. But you look sickly skinny. That's all the negatives I have. The positives? You're using a prop, your face is fierce and the lighting actually works, your hair is great, and the idea is artistic and beautiful. Overall, it's good, so good work
Adele: Not a fan of skinny model, but this photo is good. I love the way you used the circus ring. Very interesting. Love the dress. Overall great job, Zoe
Nat: I honestly didn't notice the skinniness too much here. I think you look great and this shot is really artistic. Good job this week, Zoe. I love your styling too.
Gwen: A nice shot and a very interesting choice of wardrobe. I like how you're using the prop and it's a nice pose, too. I do want to give you a cheeseburger, but this is the look that modeling agencies and photographers seem to want, so we can't fault you for your anorexia being on display here. Overall, nice shot.
Well done!

Very creative and memorable. Your body proportion is super strong and the angle is great too. This is Eva that I like before

You're on a chair and you look very cool and model-like! That's about all I can say for this one! I think you did a solid job. Though, I guess I don't think your facial expression is the best ever, It's not a big issue.
